Hi, I’m Maryellis! I’m 21 years old, a recent graduate from the University of Arkansas, and — surprisingly — on my way to seminary at Dallas Theological to pursue my master’s in counseling.
I’ll be honest: I’m not exactly the “expected” seminary student. But I was always the girl asking complicated questions and wanting to understand the Bible more. I have a big heart for Gods daughters, and a passion for understanding the “why” behind our struggles. I have made so many mistakes and have learned from them all. God nudged me toward a path I hadn’t considered — a path of both faith and counseling.
